The traditional photogravure and etching processes used to make the Carte Blanche prints reference the obsolescence of rolodex cards in the digital age. Interlocked cards that once mapped a social network of sorts, as they literally linked one individual contact to another, are now blank. Shown close-up, these abstracted forms resemble archaic dwellings, speaking to the collective memory of the past in both their material and image.
