Yellow nylon straps—commonly used to wrap around heavy cargo—were salvaged from a defunct book printing factory and riveted together to form a dense web. The straps were then returned to the factory space and installed in the form of an expansive safety net. Safety Net represents our need for assurance in a world where books and other forms of the printed word are increasingly becoming replaced by digital media.
